This brand new Tel Tac II Digital Tachometer is sure to provide your crew chief with the exact data needed to make any last second idle adjustments right before you bump it in! Equipped with an LCD digital readout and "telltale" memory, it's easy to configure and compatible with most engines and ignitions, to include MSD Pro Mag 44's, Vertex and Mallory Magnetos, or battery powered ignition systems. It turns on automatically when the engine is started and reads RPM in hundreds, from 500 RPM to over 12,000 RPM on V-8 engines, and to 15,000 RPM on smaller cylinder engines. After the engine's shut off, the highest RPM attained is shown for 30 minutes. This unit is powered by a 9-volt alkaline battery that should last for hundreds of hours and has a low battery warning when it's time to be replaced. And it comes complete with a wiring harness, mounting plate and instructions.
