These brand new coils are a key component to the complete Pro Mag 44 system used by both pro-level and sportsman race teams. Internally, there's more than a pound of high-quality copper wire tightly wound around the specially designed DuPont Rynite molded core, allowing them to handle the 44 amp output that only the Pro Mag 44 Magneto can deliver. The winding's inside, along with all the other internal components are completely wrapped in heavy-duty epoxy for maximum reliability and protection from vibrations that only a 300+ MPH rocket ship on wheels can deliver! The plug tubes, are molded from a special material known for its high dielectric properties. And all elbows, end caps and screws are included as well. Plug wire boots for both ends are made of silicone, providing an excellent resistance to heat and maximum protection against spark loss. Upgrading to a larger diameter cap increases the distance between terminals and decreases the chance of crossfire or spark scatter, as well as a build-up of ozone inside the cap.
