Pneumatic Valve Spring Compressor Tool
Having the right tools for the job has always been key not only at the race shop preparing for your next upcoming event, but also at the racetrack to keep your team efficient and going rounds! If your looking to cut down the time spent changing your valves or springs then this brand new Pneumatic Valve Spring Compressor Tool is exactly what you're looking for! This high quality specialty tool is durable, light weight and made of 6061 / 7075 T-6 aluminum. And is sure to offer the same quality service to your race team as it does with many of the pro nitro teams on tour! It's two stage air pump delivers up to 1,000 lbs. of force on as little as 70 psi. (DO NOT exceed 120 psi) and comes equipped with a 1.6" ID jaw adapter, however can also be ordered with a larger 1.740" ID jaw adapter (sold separately) if needed. The non-marring screw cap helps to protect against damage to your high end valves. And a 1-1/2" screw adjustment allows for a 7" to 8-1/2" throat. This brand new Digital Valve Spring Tester is sure to deliver everything you would expect, and then some... This quality unit is made of 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and equipped with 2" diameter plates that can handle almost any spring on the market and has a 5" travel capacity. The easy access controls on the front of the tester, along with the large, easy-to-read numbers on the back-lit screen makes it a breeze to run thru a set of springs in no time. It's capable of testing springs up to 1500 lbs; in 1 pound increments, with a digital travel readout in .001" increments. Equipped with a rotatable adjustable stop for fast measuring of open and closed spring pressures. And 3 mounting locations on the handle allow you to adjust the length for increased torque. The simple to use travel stop with 2 set screws is perfect for setting an exact position, allowing repeated testing at a specific installed spring height, or wide open lift (near coil bind).
