These are made by Mahle and consist of a composite material, with a steel core and teflon coated on both sides to help prevent oil saturation. They're NHRA nitro legal, measure .100" thickness, are sold separately and available for both TFX '96 late, or '92 early, engine blocks. 1. Completely does away with using an extension when re-torquing your head stud nuts delivering a more precise torque spec.
2. It extends past your rocker stands, shafts, etc; when removing or re-torquing your head stud nuts.
3. Extended length allows you to re-torque clutch stand nuts quickly and easily with the bellhousing on.
4. It extends past the bellhousing just enough to prevent from loosing it while re-torquing clutch stand nuts, doing away with having to use an extension.

The Hydrometers are finely graduated and deliver a clear, accurate nitromethane reading from 0% to 100% if you choose, (with the 4 hydrometer kit).
