This style dolly was specifically designed to work in conjunction with your rear trailer elevator door if you're storing your dragster on the top deck of your larger style race trailer. It installs in front of the foot box and compensates for the extra length that a dragster has up front, by allowing that to overhang off the edge of the door while still supporting the majority of the race car. Once the desired door height is reached, the car can easily be rolled back into the upper bay with the help of the 360° swivel wheels, while keeping the front wheels of the race car up off the ground. It can also work well with stacker, or single level trailers, or when it comes to loading or unloading your race car in or out of tight pit areas by providing optimum maneuverability.
