This style hypalon hose is being used by the majority of the pro nitro teams on tour. And it can be used as an oil line, or fuel line being compatible with nitro, alcohol, or gas. It's ultra light weight, flexible and the crimp collars can be cut and removed to allow end fittings to be reused. And it offers greater flow capacity that could translate to better performance on race day.
